I was on line today and somehow came across this daily affirmations app. One of the comments mentioned a free version. I downloaded it from the Apple store and as I was going to install, it told me I will be charged after x amount of days and it would charge me for a year! WTF? I hate being scammed why wouldn’t they post the price on the page with the app?
The app really sounded good, but I felt manipulated. I immediately cancelled and deleted it and checked my account to make sure I wasn’t billed. It is called I AM Daily Affirmations.
It appears to have positive reviews but it was expensive for me because they bill for the year. I deleted it so quickly, when it told me the cost, I didn’t write down the details. I could be wrong but I think it was over $10 a month.
The free version appears to be only a trial!
Just wanted to share my experience. Buyer beware even when you think it’s FREE.
We all believe in good, whether that’s how you eat, how you feel, or how you want to feel. That’s why all GreenWise products meet ONE or more of these strict requirements:
I picked up a package of the Ravolis the other day and since it said Greenwise I mistakenly assumed it was organic. Then I read the package!
pasta (durum wheat flour, eggs, water), filling (ricotta [whey, milk, cream, vinegar], spinach, bread crumbs [wheat flour, yeast, salt], whey, romano cheese made from cow's milk [pasteurized cultured milk, salt, enzymes], chicory root fiber, organic sunflower oil, water, mozzarella cheese [pasteurized cultured milk, salt, enzymes], 2% or less of: potato starch, dehydrated potatoes, Parmesan cheese [pasteurized milk, cultures, salt, enzymes], salt, garlic).
The key here is "GreenWise products meet ONE or more of these strict requirements:" (see the list above)
This is not even GMO free!!!! . The only Organic ingredient is the Sunflower oil, however it meets Publix's listed criteria that ONE item is organic.
I want to say, shame on you Publix!!
To me this is about misleading your customers, by wording things in a way to infer your benefiting the consumer, since some of the green wise ingredients may be organic.
I feel so very disappointed by your lack of integrity. You use to be a store that was proud of what it offered, balancing fair pricing and quality products.
I know you are not alone during this difficult time. However you have always stood out among the others offering, honesty, integrity, and quality products at fair prices.
It appears to me you have hopped on the GREED DRIVEN BANDWAGON. You have lost customers respect and there is even groups online asking people not to shop at your stores.
I hope the new blood and new ideas you think are so great, are not your demise. It's only so long you can fool the public with an image that your father created and sadly seems to be fast sliding into the abyss.
People are paying attention, now if only you could get back to the wonderful customer service you have been known for in the 40 loyal years I have been shopping at your stores. I think you have a chance of earning peoples respect back.
